Torrox Costa is less crowded than its
neighbours and sits just a few
kilometres west of Nerja. A popular
summer resort with many and reputed to
have the best climate in Spain. |

Being an
alternative to the beaches of Nerja,
amenities for the visitor are very good
with plenty of shops, restaurants and
bars scattered all along the resort. For
the energetic, there are a wide range of
water sports and golf facilities
available. |

Four kilometres inland is the pretty
whitewashed village of Torrox Pueblo.
When strolling through the narrow
streets, you will discover the Moorish
influence everywhere. Torrox Peublo is
steeped in history from having played an
important roll during the Moorish period
in the silk trade between Granada and
Near Eastern cities like Baghdad and
Damascus. |
